About our Cookies: All of the cookies from The Artisan Kitchen are made from scratch, our vanilla is imported from Tahiti, fondants and chocolates are imported from Switzerland, and we only use real creamery butter, no shortening or margarine. Each cookie is meticulously decorated by hand, according to your own specifications. Wedding cake designer, Meredith Ciaburri, spends ten to thirty minutes on each cookie, from start to finish. Cookies are coated in glace royal icing that dries to form a crust, the cookie base is a soft-style cookie which makes a nice foil to the crunch of the icing.

About Cake Designer, Meredith Ciaburri:
Meredith graduated as valedictorian of Baking and Pastry at The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY as well as Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI. Her skills in pastry and cake design were earned through additional classes with world-renowned cake designer Betty Van Norstrand, Andrew Von Bourgondien, and former Executive Pastry Chef at the Four Seasons Maui, Patricia Mitchell. Her pastry work as an intern at The Sagamore Resort on Lake George, NY, was featured on Food Network $40/Day with Rachel Ray, where she designed menus and cakes for the five-diamond resort and Trillium Bis Restaurant. Meredith now owns The Artisan Kitchen and services all of the South Coast.
